at 6:00 pm. All on the beach, across creeks, view picturesque caves

Historical Society Museum - Bandon Historical Society Museum is
located in Bandon, Oregon, right on Highway 101, with easy parking
off the street. The museum is housed in the second building to be
constructed after the 1936 fire that destroyed the city. Until 1970,
this building was Bandon's city hall. Featuring extensive displays
dating back to the earliest pioneers, including the Big Bandon Fire
of 1936. |

Acres State Park - Perched on rugged sandstone cliffs high above
the ocean, Shore Acres State Park is an exciting and unexpected combination
of beautiful natural and constructed features. Once the grand estate
of pioneer timber baron Louis Simpson, Shore Acres features lushly
planted gardens with plants and flowers from all over the world. Something
is in bloom almost every day of the year. In the landscaped area you'll
discover a formal garden, an oriental-style pond and two rose gardens
which include an All American Rose Selection display. From Thanksgiving
through New Years, the gardens are ablaze with thousands of colored
lights and holiday decorations put up by community volunteers and
The Friends of Shore Acres in cooperation with the Oregon Parks and
Recreation Department. Most of the garden is wheelchair accessible,
and loaner wheelchairs are available from the information center/gift
store operated on-site by the Friends of Shore Acres. |

Prehistoric Gardens - The Prehistoric Gardens...Take
a trip back in time - far back in earth's prehistory where giants
roamed the primordial forest... see more than 20 life size sculptures
of dinosaurs in and among rare plants and old growth trees of the
